Documentary Evaulation

My documentary aim was to know if Blackberry's are addictive.

Shooting the Documentary:
The problems me and my partner faced while filming our documentary was that there was only 2 of us which meant we had to try extra hard but we needed to get help of people from our class.


Editing the Documentary:
When it was time to upload the documentary, i could not load it on to my log in, this had caused a big problem because i had to upload it on my partners log in. The problem with this was that we both had to edit at the same time which made it hard for us. After we put all the clips together we realised our documentary was not long enough, so we had to film more clips in less time.

What happened while filming?
The problems i had to go through while filming was the amount of people that were in my group, it was only me and my partner so we had to ask someone else to join our group, however he had to keep going out of the lesson so we then decided that we would get people from our class to help act in our film. Moreover the other problem i had to face was that i could not upload the film on my log in which meant i had to edit on my partners log in. This is meant that one of us would do more work than the other however this meant that it would be hard for both of us to edit at the same time. The things that went successful was that the scenes we filmed came out the way we wanted it too.

Editing the film
One of the problems i had while editing the film was that i could not upload the film on to my log in which meant that we had to edit the film on my partners log in. Therefore i had to do other things on my log in such as finding music which goes for the different types of scenes.

Today i finished filming my movie and we had scencdes in diffrent places such as balcony, reception, classrooms. i was the camera operator and filmed most of my scences in the hall way. the first scence that we done was introductoing the new boy to the bully and the bully had to show him around.

Monster...
Monster is a movie based on alien invasion in Mexico when an American tourist tries to get back home through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.

My personal opinion on this movie would be that it isn't the best movie I've watched. The storyline was not good at all, the ending was rubbish, it should of been more dramatic to catch the attention of audience. This movie also made feel very sleepy through out because there was not much going on apart from talking about how to get back and just going on boats and sleeping on them. I believe that the storyline had been ruined when they were on the boat and there was lots of ghost noises, i felt that this was unrealistic and looked very fake.

Summary Results

Giving out my questionnaire has helped me get some knowledge about what type of genre people would like the most, in the chart below it shows that comedy has been the favourite genre by far. I will be looking to make a movie based on comedy funny stuff.

Everyone who has filled in my questionnaire has chosen to watch a movie between the of hours of one and five. This has given me an idea of how long and short i should keep my movie.

As you can see in the pie chart below the majorty of people have said they would like to see horror movies scarier than they are now. From this i have learnt that if i make horror movie i can sell my movie at more markets if i make horror movies much more dramtic and scarier as the audience feel that the horror movies are not scary enough.

 

The pie chart below shows that everyone who filled in my questionnaire apart from on person feel that children at the age under 16 should be allowed to watch movies even if they are not old enough. If there are movies i make that have violence etc in the movie i will not have no age boundy  as many people feel it should be allowed.

 

It is most likley people would watch a movie on the internet than pay for it and watch it in the cinemas as it is shown in the pie chart below.

 

Most people have said that they feel someone at the age over 40 and onwards should not watch a horror movie as they have their own personal reasons.

 

I have learnt that the majorty of people would not visit the cinemas to go and see a movie more that 1-5 times a month. this is shown in the graph below:

My pie chart is showing me that some people would take their children to watch a romantic movie and some would not.

Conclusion: My movie will not be longer than 4hours, i will make most comedy movies and i now have a rough idea of how many times a month people go cinemas to watch a movie and i also know the majorty of people would rather watch a movie online than pay to watch it

A Nightmare on Elm Street was released in North America on April 30th 2010 and was later in forgein markets May 8th 2010. The movie broke the record for midnight openings for a horror film. The film has bought in over $63million at the domestic box office and over $115million worldwide. The movie was made in America.
