The film is about a group of teenagers being stalked and murdered in their dreams by a man called Freddy Kruger soon the teenagers find out they are having the same dreams with something to do with their past childhood that is making them a target for Freddy.

A Nightmare on Elm Street was released in North America on April 30th 2010 and was later in forgein markets May 8th 2010. The movie broke the record for midnight openings for a horror film. The film has bought in over $63million at the domestic box office and over $115million worldwide. The movie was made in America.
